Tyrepliers
was a home grown invention by Mr Chris Watson (Founding Managing
Director.)
Development of the
original was between 1980 and 1986. Manufacturing commenced in
late 1986 and it was in the home garage up until 1990. The market
for the product increased to the point were production could no
longer be sustained from a residential garage. In 1990 Tyrepliers
Engineering was formed and the operation was moved to a more suitable
commercial manufacturing facility in Sunbury.
Tyrepliers has now
developed into a company that employs 7 full time staff. The product
range has grown from its humble beginnings to an ever increasing
range of tyre repair equipment.
Since
our inception in 1986 we have been involved many shows, and I'm
proud to say that we awarded for best products time and time again.
Including one of Australia's most prestige's awards the
"Silver Award for Best 4x4 Aftermarket Products at the 1996
Motoring Industry Awards"
.
But our most satisfying
moment came in 1998, when we ventured to the United States of
America, to exhibit in the world renowned Sema Show. We
came away from the show with Runner Up (only to Warn's Black
Diamond Suspension) for the " Best New Off Road Product 1998"
The Company is very
proud of its achievements and reputation as a Defence Manufacturer,
Employer and Exporter. The Company is also proud of its national
and international Patents, Trademarks and Design registrations.
